Snowmobiler Caught in Avalanche Near McCall – March 29th, 2014
In March of 2014, Ride McCall crew and friends were snowmobiling in the Granite Mountain area north of McCall when one of the crew set off a large avalanche in a depression in the terrain they were traveling through. Luckily, the burried rider was wearing a avalanche air bag that kept him near the surface and easy to spot so it was a quick rescue! This could have been a devastating outcome!
