Warm Lake

Warm Lake, Idaho is a great summertime and wintertime destination for dirt bikers, UTVers, snowmobilers and of course boaters and other outdoor enthusiasts. It is east of Cascade, Idaho about 27 miles and provides access to many great riding areas.

Sitting on or near the shores, are two lodges with restaurants and rustic cabins available for rent – North Shore Lodge and Warm Lake Lodge. A large U.S. Forest Service campground is also nearby with many more primitive camping sites scattered throughout the area. Warm Lake also has a snowmobile and off-road club called the Warm Lake Rider’s Association.

Snowmobiling

Warm Lake is located in the Boise National Forest and has several groomed routes in the area that lead to other areas such as Clear Creek or towards Yellow Pine and Deadwood Reservoir. Two snowmobile parking areas are located nearby. The Warm Lake Rider’s Association will be hosting their first Annual Snowmobile Kid’s Fun Run February 10th.

Dirt Biking & UTV Touring

There are numerous motorcycle single track trails in the area that offer a variety of riding from fast and flowey to technical. Dirt bikers can access single track trails that are close by to the south that lead into the East Mountain and Silver Mountain areas. To the north, the South Fork area offers many more great single track loops. UTVs can enjoy trips to places like Yellow Pine, Cinnabar Mine, Deadwood Reservoir and beyond.
